Fourth-term House Republican Tom Tancredo of Colorado has made his biggest mark in Congress as a hard-line opponent of illegal immigration and the president’s plans for immigration reform. As if that button were not hot enough, he recently mused on a radio program that in response to a terrorist nuclear detonation in the United States, the American government ought to consider a retaliatory nuclear strike against Muslim holy sites.
